Back to the Future James White, Signalnoise |
Time to rock! Staying enthusiastic about your art and design is not entirely about finding new clients, nor is it about the changing industry.
We need inspiration, entertainment, progression, a solid bridge between conceptual and technical, and a positive outlook on our place in the design universe. What matters when searching for your creative voice? This presentation will deal with all of these points wrapped into personal stories, art examples, case studies, the importance of self-investment and a solid dose of nostalgic inspiration mixed with rock n' roll. James will also present the lessons learned from running his Signalnoise Design Studio for the past 5 years and how he went about creating his name in the design industry, which started 30 years ago at the age of 4. When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious stuff. |

| AAFL General Luncheon Speaker > | Case Study: Shatto Milk Seth Gunderson, Sullivan Higdon and Sink |
Seth Gunderson will share how a small, family-owned dairy with limited resources came to stand out in a competitive field in a booming metro market. Shatto Milk used what they had - a great product, shelf real estate and a fun, cheeky attitude to propel sales. Now there is a waiting list of stores clamoring to carry their milk, butter and ice cream to satisfy the rabid Shatto fan base. Join us as we learn how the Shatto Milk Company and their agency Sullivan Higdon and Sink, worked together to create work that won 8 national ADDY® Awards and District 9 "Best of Show" using the limited budget of a small, local brand. |
